As a natural athlete for much of her life, participating in everything from paddling the 41-mile Na Wahine ‘O Ke Kai Moloka’i to O’ahu canoe race, to Surfing the waves of O’ahu’s North Shore where she was raised, to becoming a skydiving instructor and freefall videographer, Blossom realized early on in life the importance and value of keeping our bodies strong through exercise and strength training. She developed a passion for working out and started her career as a personal fitness trainer and coach in Florida. She took her passion for working out into her hobby of skydiving and later developed sports specific training programs for different disciplines in skydiving.

 She was picked up as team trainer for a competitive skydiving team from Europe and spent 6 months traveling throughout western Europe. It was in the mountains of Austria where a mountain biking accident took Blossom from an adrenaline fueled fast paced life, to a life of humility, slowing down…healing. It was there that she experienced her first massage. 

Upon returning to O’ahu with a much different outlook, she dove into learning everything she could about different massage methods and practices. She studied Swedish, Sports, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, Thai, Shiatsu, Hot Stones and Trigger Point Therapy at 2 different massage schools and got her license in 2010. But she hungered for more. That’s when she turned to her family. Coming from 5 generations of Kumu Hula (hula teachers) she had plenty of stories to listen to about traditional Hawaiian healing practices, through the oral history of Hawai’i recorded through hula. 

In 2014 she moved to Maui and studied under the direction of Kumu Jeanna Nalua’i. Lomi Lomi is her passion, her purpose, she believes. She also recently studied Ashiatsu “Barefoot” massage in Paia. All of Blossom’s sessions are intuitive, listening deeply and offering a blend of her wisdom of touch. Although grounded in her Hawaiian culture, she is also steadfast in her faith. “I am not a healer, I don’t heal people…I’m just a vessel…healing comes only from God the father, through his son Jesus Christ.”
